Brisbane Airport Corporation Pty Limited (BAC) aims to provide facilities at Brisbane Airport that are not only world class, but also promote accessibility for all members of the community, including passengers and visitors with disabilities or special needs. BAC employees are committed to ensuring that equal opportunity principles are followed when dealing with people with disabilities, whether they are other employees, customers, passengers, their families or general members of the public.

This commitment is achieved, in part, by our conformance with all applicable building regulations, Building Code
of Australia requirements, and applicable Australian Standards. In addition, access consultants are engaged for any major terminal upgrade project to ensure inclusive access is provided in and around terminal buildings and car parks. BAC also works closely with representative groups to ensure that airport developments meet the needs and expectations of all travellers.

This Disability Access Facilitation Plan will be displayed on the BAC website at www.bne.com.au and will be updated to reflect major changes to BAC infrastructure as we continue to develop our facilities. In addition to this plan, BAC is currently undertaking a review of our website to ensure that it is best practise in special needs access and has included a special needs page as part of our online community forum. As part of our commitment to social sustainability BAC will continue to look for ways to improve airport
amenities, access and connectivity into the future.
