I personally called hotel to ask if room is accessible for wheelchair user. Convenient but disappointing. Arrived and made it clear that a ground floor room would be preferred but this was totally ignored because ‘we have a lift’. Not only 1st floor but also a disabled room which they claimed was a standard double but didn’t mention before I went up. Also, the bed was old style, really uncomfortable I got up with back ache and I managed very little sleep. Not really suitable for the wheelchair dependant disabled. Food next door was good. Also staff very friendly. Breakfast very good choice.
