This hotel is in a good position for public transport and there are lots of restaurants surrounding it. The entrance is level, and the reception are is a smooth floor. There is no lowered counter for check in, but the staff did bring a clip board around to the front for completion. The accessible room that I was given was quite extraordinary in that once I opened the door, there was a 2m long ramp to get down into the room. It must have had steps at some point. The access to the bathroom was also on this ramp and I passed the door as I rolled down it. The wardrobes are not accessible as there is a bed placed along side the doors, with enough room for them to open, but not wide enough for a wheelchair. Getting in and out of the bathroom was a nuisance too. However, the price was good and my PA assisted with everything else that I couldn’t manage in terms of hanging clothes etc. The room was clean and the bed was comfy. This was a twin room.
