There are several disabled parking spots right outside the door which made it easy for me to hobble the 10 feet or so to the hotel reception area. I’ve asked for rooms nearer the entrance before now to accommodate my mobility problems and have always been obliged. There is a fair walk from the hotel to the restaurant if you’re disabled, it’s about 200 yards and there is a slope for wheelchairs to use. The disabled room was pleasant, very clean and tidy, and the new decor is understated and calm. he bed was as comfy as ever. Extra pillows are provided in the wardrobe and the duvet was plenty warm enough for us. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay – staff were all helpful and friendly and the upgraded rooms were very good value and comfortable.
