This is a truly historic building in the political life of the United Kingdom and there have been many accessibility features added by the events team. That said, there are still lots of issues for those who need to use a wheelchair, with many doors not wide enough to get through and as I was visiting with my MP the knowledge of accessible routes around the place is dreadful. This is also the case for any signposting of access to be able to figure out where to go. That aside, it is very much worth a visit as the buzz and excitement in the place is tingling.
Lifts and step-free access routes are accessible to manually operated wheelchairs or small electric chairs. They have limited number of wheelchairs that are available from Westminster Hall so better to book in advance. There is car park nearby with disabled bay which is recommended for the parking. There are number of disabled toilets available.
