The Captain Cook Hotel is a family run, Heritage Listed pub in the heart of Botany. Built in 1906 by Oscar Nielson (later the Mayor of Botany) and fully renovated in 2006 by the current owners, the Cook can now boast 12 immaculately presented rooms, each with ensuite, TV, FREE WiFi and daily service.
Located 5km from Sydney International Airport and just 12km from the City CBD, Botany has developed into a thriving community of extraordinarily friendly locals and small businesses. Backing onto Botany Bay, and surrounded by National Parks and Golf Courses, Botany is the obvious choice for people working in Port Botany, and travellers on a Sydney stopover.
Our Bistro offers the very best pub fare at reasonable prices, and we are renowned for our Sunday Pork Roast and unique $10 lunch menu. We also offer full TAB and KENO facilities, as well as a pool table, jukebox and darts. Our Karaoke night on the last Friday of every month is a big hit with the locals, and our staff and regular patrons are the friendliest you will ever meet.
