Taking over the iconic Melbourne restaurant-formerly-known-as Jacques Reymond, chef-owners Thomas Woods and Hayden McFarland are flying the flag for degustation menus, an enviable cellar and classic service with a modern flair. Thomas and Hayden share a joint vision about what a fine dining restaurant should be - Woodland House is the manifestation of this vision.
Woodland House is an elegant dining space with crisp white linen-draped tables, Nordic style chairs and a contemporary beige and brown colour palette. A smart-casual dress code must be observed when dining at the restaurant.
The restaurant has a series of dining rooms suitable for private events as well as intimate weddings, corporate functions, cocktail parties and wine dinners. Catering for groups of 6 up to 65 guests for a sit down event or standing cocktail party, each of the private dining rooms have been designed with sophistication in mind.
