The Broads is Britain's magical waterland - England's largest wetland with over 125 miles of safe, enchanting waterways to explore. Waveney River Centre provides the ideal location for Norfolk Broads holidays - which can include a perfect blend of boating, walking and relaxing - whether you're staying in one of our luxury holiday lodges, using our exceptional camping facilities or just dropping by for the day.
On the Park, you'll find The Waveney Inn - our newly refurbished pub & restaurant, Eddie's Pool & Café and the Mariner's Stores, as well as a kids' playground and wildlife garden. For a trip along the river, you can hire day cruisers, canoes and kayaks - or you can take our ferry across to Suffolk and walk alongside the river, through Carlton Marshes Nature Reserve or into the nearby town of Oulton Broad.
Waveney River Centre has been awarded David Bellamy's Gold Conservation Award for the past 4 years and was judged the Best Broads Holiday Experience in the 2012 EDP Norfolk Tourism Awards.

Our luxury holiday lodges, cottage and penthouses are spacious and exceptionally well appointed, featuring fully integrated kitchen appliances, digital TV & DVD and south facing balconies with superb views across the marshes. They are ideal for holidays all year round and feature a bird feeder beside the balcony & lounge window, so that you can spot our feathered friends and record them in Eddie's Bird book. Most of our lodges now feature a private hot tub.
Our luxury bed & breakfast rooms are located within the Waveney Inn and feature huge beds and 40in HD Smart TVs.
Our touring & camping area is small and family-oriented, with room for 14 touring caravans and up to 35 tents. It occupies an idyllic south-facing location overlooking the marina and river, with leisure centre, showers, toilets & wash up area all immediately adjacent. All our pitches are on level ground and most feature electric hookup.
Touring caravan pitches with electricity are located on high well-drained ground with superb views. Some pitches have water, grey waste and TV connection too, and Kingfisher pitches have hardstanding. WiFi is also available.
Our touring pitches are recommended for touring caravans and motor homes. If you have a smaller camper van up to 6m long (eg VW, Bongo, van conversion) then please select one of our Mallard or Bittern camping pitches. Trailer tents can be located on any of our camping pitches (of an appropriate size).
Our individual luxury wet rooms feature shower, basin, WC, hairdryer and underfloor heating. Now you've no reason to stay tucked up in your sleeping bag - your bathroom awaits! Use of the showers and toilets are included in the price of your pitch, and there are no extra person charges. Our facilities also feature a launderette, with commercial grade coin-operated washing machines, tumble dryers & iron.
