Originally a nursery, Beasley's Tea House was created to allow the public to enjoy tea and scones among the charming gardens of East Doncaster. Open for light meals at breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea time, Beasley's Tea House also offers take away beverages for those who wish to stroll through the retail nursery. This vibrant little café is a hub for parents, who can grab a coffee and a baby cino for the little ones before ducking down to the nearby playground.
The nursery was established in 1976 by Ron and Merle Beasley and their two sons, Bill and Neil. It was primarily a fern nursery, which then expanded into an award winning retail nursery.
The Teahouse was a welcome addition to the business in 1986, offering tea and coffee to it’s visitors, along with Merle Beasley’s famous scones. As the popularity of the teahouse grew it expanded into what we have today.
The Teahouse trades 7 days a week for breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea & also now our High Tea. Takeaway coffee, tea and cold beverages, along with cakes and biscuits are available for customers wishing to stroll through the beautiful surrounding Nursery and Mullum Mullum Creek Park Lands.
