Once home to the Beaumaris Hotel, BEAU Kitchen and Cellar is now a trendy and modern dining space that has fast become a Beaumaris neighbourhood must-visit. The kitchen boasts a fully imported bertha oven delivered straight from London and is where most of the proteins and vegetables are cooked. Food is rustic and European inspired with a stylish bistro style ambience. Matching the food is a robust menu of continental wines and a dedicated space reserved for functions and special events.
BEAU Kitchen and Cellar located on Beach Road between Black Rock and Mentone in Beaumaris, in what was the former Beaumaris Hotel. Beaumaris is a wonderful Bayside Community and only 18kms from Melbourne’s CBD. We are also well located for many schools and local businesses, the perfect meeting place. Whether you are local or visiting, having a walk on the beach, or cycling by everyone is welcome. Dogs are welcome and there is plenty of outdoor space for them to be tethered to and enjoy a drink and dog biscuit on us. There is plenty of parking available on the street.

See our menu tab for breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner and function menus. Our menu is European inspired, based on our experiences abroad over the years. Our lunch and dinner menu is set up with lots of small plates that can be shared or had alone. We imported a Bertha Oven, the first into Australia from London, England. Bertha is a wonderful wood fired oven in which we cook most of our proteins and vegetables. Our menu is seasonal and local, so we tend to change it often. The menus shown here should be read as sample menus.
BEAU Kitchen and Cellar is conveniently located next door to Rack and Ruin our boutique bottle shop. Through the gate, you can enter Rack to select a bottle of wine to have with your meal in BEAU. We do charge corkage of $14.50 on top of the bottleshop prices, this offers great value. In Rack and Ruin you can select from over 200 wines that we have carefully selected from small growers. We are particularly proud of our range of Pinot Noir. What is important to us is that you can rest assured that any of our wines will be lovely and the varied range will suit any budget too. There is always someone around to lend you hand if needed. There are regular wine tastings, just join our mailing list to get the heads up on all events.
