For taking a calm, relaxing break in the North Lakes then Irton House Farm offers a choice of five disabled accessible holiday cottages which sit around a central courtyard. For the Motorhome and Caravan users we have five mature Caravan Club pitches and four general pitches – all with amazing views. Finally we have a four berth static caravan set in its own amazing plot but with the same great vistas.
The Cottages
All our cottages have been furnished throughout to a high specification, and have been specifically designed to provide easy access for all guests including those with reduced mobility. All the cottages are easily accessible with parking immediately outside the front entrance and all benefit from customer controlled central heating which allows guests to maintain a comfortable temperature at no additional cost.
WiFi is now available in all cottages.
Caravan Pitches
Irton House Farm is a member of The Caravan Club. The caravan site has five spacious pitches, each with an electric hookup and there is a modern shower block with showers and toilets close to the site. The views from the site are some of the best in the Lake District overlooking the Skiddaw mountain range and Bassenthwaite Lake.
Across from the mature setting of the CL we also have four separate non-CL pitches, all with electric hookup, in what we call The Paddock. Set on the edge of an easily reached location through the farmyard, the pitches on The Paddock have the most amazing views of the North Lakes countryside and Bassenthwaite lake.
Lake View
Located permanently just through the farmyard is our delightful static caravan, Lake View, which sleeps four and offers great value breaks in an envious and peaceful location. Complete with its own small garden and outside seating area Lake View has been positioned to make best use of the magnificent scenery. The views from the main living room window are amazing – especially as the sun sets.
