Cutler and Co is housed in an old metalworks factory in Fitzroy and its design is a lesson in industrial chic. The kitchen is on show at the front of the restaurant and its performance in dishing up imaginative, exciting Modern Australian cuisine has earned it a legion of loyal diners, not to mention a swag of awards, including a place in the nations Top 10 Restaurants at the Gourmet Traveller 2014 awards.
Cutler & Co. Dining Room is located in an old metal works factory on Gertrude Street, Fitzroy, Melbourne’s first suburb and industrial area. Opened in February 2009 by Chef Andrew McConnell, the restaurant reflects his passion for exceptional produce and memorable dining experiences.
Andrew’s only fine dining venue, Cutler & Co strikes a balance between elegance and simplicity.
The menu celebrates the seasons through both an a la carte menu featuring larger dishes to share for the table and the daily changing Chef's Selection degustation style menu. Classic Sunday lunches at Cutler & Co offer a relaxed take on Andrew's food, in the form of sharing style dishes to enjoy with friends and family.
A new addition to the space in 2017, The Cutler & Co. bar is a destination in it's own right - a stand-alone venue that caters for a quick drink, a platter of fruits de mer, or an abalone katsu sandwich. The dedicated bar menu celebrates the freshest seafood alongside smaller dishes that are perfect for snacking, or you can work through the whole menu and make a night of it.
