Chef Heston Blumenthal has opened his first permanent restaurant outside of the UK. On the third floor of Crown Towers Hotel, Dinner by Heston Blumenthal is a 120 seater that overlooks the city across the Yarra River. In quintessential Heston-style, the menu offers contemporary dishes inspired by historic British gastronomy dating back to the 1300’s. There is also a chef’s table, which allows up to 6 guests to interact directly with Heston’s team, whilst enjoying an exclusive tasting menu served by the head chef. The private room, which offers dining for up to 10 guests, enjoys clear views of the kitchen, the Yarra River and Melbourne’s CBD. Open for dinner 7 days a week with lunch on Friday’s and Saturday’s. Dinner takes its creative inspiration from our historic and nostalgic culinary past.
