The Witch’s Hat is one of the most popular backpacker hostels in Perth and Western Australia. We are a relaxed, clean, comfortable and characterful modern backpackers. The Witch’s Hat is a beautifully restored federation style house on a quiet street in Northbridge, just a short walk to the CBD and the lively Northbridge entertainment hub.
We offer off-street parking inside our gates for six vehicles. There’s also on-street parking right outside the hostel which is free of charge. Parking is available on a first come first served basis.
Security is a vital point when selecting a hostel. The Hat offers secure coded gate for the front of the building, key code front door entry as well as lock on each room. Once in your room, you have your own secured locker for added peace of mind.
We offer a basic free breakfast to give you a good start to your day as well as extra value for money. We now offer free WiFi in our communal areas.

Our dorms come in a few different types; 6 bed mixed dorm, 4 bed mixed dorm and 4 bed female dorm. However they all have a few things in common.

Private Rooms
We have two different types of private room, either a double room or a twin room. These rooms are quiet, clean and perfect for those on a tight budget.
