In the restaurant heavy bayside town of Hampton on Melbourne's outskirts lies a quaint and classy wine bar called Hampton Wine Co. Diners will find some of Australia's most talented chefs and sommeliers here with most previously working under culinary legend Jacques Raymond. Wine bottles are mounted in a black iron wine stand against the wall, and light timber finishings add to the minimal, less is more decor. The tiny kitchen produces high-quality bar bites with a limited and ever changing menu.
Hampton Wine Co is a collaboration between Glenn Mill, Pierre Geoffroy, and Jarrod Amos in the Kitchen.
The three of them met while working at the then, 3 Hat Restaurant which was Jacques Reymond Restaurant. After collectively working there for 14 years combined, the boys branched out, and kept furthering their knowledge, and passion for food and wine through new environments, different workplaces, and travelling.
After a 2 year search for the right space, the three of them finally stumbled upon 444 Hampton Street, and Hampton Wine Co was born. A classically European influenced wine bar and Boutique bottle shop, with great food to match, and informed polished service. This platform enables them to share their passion of food and wine, with the people of Bayside and beyond.
