Both buildings have been carefully restored to a high standard offering extreme comfort to all. Both cottages have been awarded four stars with Quality in Tourism, as well as M1 and M2 grading in the National Accessible Scheme. Suitable for guests in wheelchair
Stables
Our first barn conversion was completed in 2000 and then modernised in early 2013. The accommodation is extremely spacious. This cottages has a four star gold award and M1 and M11 in the national accessible scheme.
It’s large open plan lounge and dining area can easily accommodate four people . With its beamed ceilings and wooden floors, the lounge includes TV DVD Radio and CD Player. Patio doors open onto its own private garden.
The spacious fully fitted modern white gloss kitchen has a double oven gas rangemaster, fridge freezer, micro wave, toaster, washing machine and tumble dryer. You will find everything needed in a kitchen here for your convenience.
Along the corridor there is a twin bedroom with en suite wet room comprising of fixed and hand held shower, wall hung basin and toilet. A portable shower seat a pull down rail and various and hand rails. Complete ground floor living makes the cottage ideal for those with mobility problems.
On the first floor you will find the large master bedroom, with fitted wardrobe and en suite with shower, basin and toilet.
The cottage is tastefully furnished and well equipped to make your stay as comfortable as possible
Barn
The barn was completed in 2006. This cottage, as too the Stables has been designed to make a comfortable stay for anyone holidaying, but especially for those with mobility problems, as it has been awarded an M1 and M2 grading by Quality in Tourism.
On the ground floor it has an open plan kitchen and lounge. With it’s leather sofa’s you can watch TV, DVD, listen to the CD/radio or just enjoy the view through the patio doors. The fully fitted kitchen comprises of electric cooker, gas hob, microwave, kettle, toaster and washer/dryer.
There is also a twin bedroom on the ground floor. As well as a large wet room, with shower, pedestal basin and toilet. Handrails and a fitted shower seat have been fitted to assist those who need help.
On the first floor you will find a second lounge providing great views across the Fleet lagoon and Chesil beach. A spacious double bedroom with en-suite. The en-suite comprise of a large corner bath, pedestal basin and toilet.
Accessibility
Both cottages have been graded M1 and M2 in the National Accessible Scheme. This grading is undertaken through Visit Britain.
Logo M1 Typically suitable for a person with sufficient mobility to climb a flight of steps but would benefit from fixtures and fittings to aid balance.
Logo M2 Typically suitable for a person with restricted walking ability and for those that may need to use a wheelchair some of the time and can negotiate a maximum of three steps.
