A former apartment on LIttle Bourke Street has been converted into The French Saloon, a cool bistro to satisfy local Francophiles. The relaxed, light-filled space is furnished with distressed floorboards, bentwood chairs and a six-metre French-made zinc bar. Expect classics like cassoulet and bouillabaisse in the winter months, and beef carpaccio, whole roasted fish and chilled oysters in the summer. There's also quality steaks, aged in-house, along with house-made charcuterie.
