Borgie Lodge Hotel is closed for the Winter, thank you for visiting us and we look forward to seeing you in 2017
Situated between Skerray, Borgie and Bettyhill, the Borgie Lodge Hotel lies in a quiet secluded Highland glen on the banks of the beautiful River Borgie in North West Sutherland.
North West Sutherland represents one of the last great scenic secrets of Europe. It is a vast wilderness of extraordinary mountains which stand as isolated islands in an ocean of ancient rock, moorland and heather-clad hill. It is where you will find the highest sea cliffs, the highest waterfalls, and many other extremes of the natural world. But most importantly, it is a land where you can find total freedom.
We have eight bedrooms in total, of which seven are en-suite. The only room not en-suite directly adjoins to the next room which is en-suite and would be ideal for use as a family suite.
For guests who want to hide away and completely relax we are able to offer private dining. More than just simple room service, you can choose from our evening menu and have each course served up on a table complete with linens, fine glassware and silver cutlery all set up in the private lounge.
Our rooms feature:
Pets:
Dogs are most welcome to stay at Borgie. Our spacious garden to the rear is enclosed and safe for your best friend to exercise and enjoy playful times.
Restaurant
Relax and unwind in our restaurant and lounge. After the day’s activities, guests often gather in the Lady Sutherland Lounge and chat over a pre-dinner dram while perusing the ever changing menu.
The restaurant cuisine features fresh vegetables from the kitchens own garden when in season, combined with succulent Caithness beef and lamb, Sutherland venison and a variety of seafood and fresh fish from the clear blue waters of the North Sea.
