The Fearn Hotel has a warm and cosy atmosphere with good home cooking using local produce where possible and is personally run by the owners, Graeme and Denise.
The hotel is set in the village of Fearn, which is 3 miles off the main A9 just south of the Royal Burgh of Tain, with magnificent views over the countryside towards Nigg and the Seaboard villages of Hilton, Balintore and Shandwick.
We are building a reputation for our home cooked food served in a friendly and warm environment, where we look to source our produce locally, where we can. In our restaurant we can cater for small private parties such as birthdays, weddings and anniversaries. We also have a smaller breakfast room – the Abbey Room – which is ideal for small parties and meetings and as the name suggests, has magnificent views of the nearby Fearn Abbey. In addition, we have a small lounge bar where you can relax or challenge our friendly locals to a game of pool or darts.
Guests who have visited the Hotel will testify to the friendly welcome and the good food, which awaits them and of the beauty of the surrounding countryside, which is ideal for walking, cycling, golfing and shooting or simply mooching around.
The hotel has 6 well appointed rooms – 3 single, 1 double and 2 twin - all with en-suite or private facilities. Rates for our rooms start from £45.00 for bed and full Scottish breakfast in a single room. In addition we can offer a 2 Course Dinner at £12 per person (menu restrictions may apply).
The rooms include tea and coffee making facilities with colour digital TVs (including all freeview channels), radio alarm clocks and hairdryers. Free wi fi internet access is also available for our guests. In addition we are happy for guests to bring along their impeccably behaved dogs free of charge!
