The picturesque fishing village of Ullapool, is on the West Coast of Scotland in the North West Highlands.

The Sheiling is just 5 minutes from the Caledonian MacBrayne ferry to the Hebrides (Western Isles) which leaves twice daily (just once on Sundays). So if you are planning a trip to Stornoway on Lewis, Harris or any of the other Hebridean Islands why not stop off in Ullapool and enjoy all the delights the village and surrounding area have to offer.

We are open all year and are pleased to welcome guests for B&B for any period required, including one night stays.

Throughout the year Ullapool hosts a number of events such as Feis Rois, The Guitar Festival, The Book Festival, Round the Pier Day and Loopallu. We offer the Highland’s best for breakfast with a choice of porridge, cereals, fruit, yoghurts, toast & jams, full cooked, smoked haddock, smoked salmon and vegetarian options. We will give you a hearty and fulsome start to the day whatever your preference and all ingredients are locally sourced.

The Sheiling has six guest bedrooms, four double rooms and two twin-bedded rooms. All are en-suite, some with bath and some with shower. All bedrooms are spacious and have hairdryer, tea & coffee making facility, clock radio and lots of extra's to ensure you enjoy your stay with us. Two bedrooms are on the ground floor, the other four are on the first floor.
