Welcome to Ullapool bed and breakfast Clachan Farmhouse, just less than a mile off the NC 500 route, where you can enjoy a friendly, relaxed atmosphere, and be ideally placed to visit all of the tourist attractions of the Northwest Highlands.
We are a working farm where you will see North Country Cheviot sheep, Luing cattle and Border collies at work every day. We have ample off-road parking and we are situated off the main road, just seven miles south of the fishing village of Ullapool.
We have an upstairs twin room, which has a private bathroom, and downstairs we have an en-suite which has a superking size bed. We have a travel cot and children are always welcome.
Each year we look after many weary walkers who are travelling The Cape Wrath Trail, we have drying facilities for campers with wet tents, boots etc. If you are walking the Trail, let us know in advance and we will be prepared for you! Some walkers have food parcels sent to the farmhouse prior to their arrival, to lessen their carrying load. We can also prepare packed lunches by request.
Rooms
We have an upstairs twin room, which has a private bathroom, and downstairs we have an ensuite with superking size bed. We have a travel cot and children are always welcome. We provide tea/coffee making facilities and hairdryers.
Visitors have their own entrance to the house, their own comfortable sitting room with an open fire, books and Sky TV. The house is centrally heated and we provide free wifi in every room.
A varied Continental breakfast is served. Any special dietary requirements are never a problem, feel free to email ahead of your visit, or ring to discuss anything you need.
Although we have many sheepdogs ourselves, the dogs never come into the house. Therefore we are very sorry but we cannot accommodate pets of any kind.
