Lovers of Sourced Grocer in Teneriffe will be tickled pink about Gauge, the gourmet market's little sister. The dining room is simple, warm and comforting but the elevated open kitchen is a firecracker, sending out seriously innovative Mod Oz dishes in earthy designer bowls. There's also fresh-baked daily pastries, perfect when you're getting coffee on the go, but we recommend sitting down for a surprising meal of artisanal produce.
Gauge is Jerome Batten’s second Brisbane restaurant following the success of Sourced Grocer in Teneriffe. The team is lead by head chefs Cormac Bradfield and Phil Marchant. Together they bring extensive experience from the progressive dining scenes in Australia and the UK to produce thoughtful innovative food with intent. The drinks list includes wine and liquor from some of Australia’s most forward-thinking and experimental producers.
