An obsession with creating perfect dumplings time and time again is the driving force behind Harajuku Gyoza in Fortitude Valley. This rather simple idea was conceived by Steven Minon and Matthew Bailey, two gyoza obsessives who approached Esquire Executive Chef, Ryan Squires to consult on their dream project. Harajuku Gyoza is a celebration of dumplings, beer and Japanese culture. They are like little Japanese dumplings of happy, because they’re cooked crispy on the bottom and steamed juicy on the top. We bring our traditions from Tokyo to serve Harajuku Gyoza izakaya-style with side dishes, beer, wine and sake. Don’t be shy. Order again and again. Share with your friend. Or come by yourself and make new friends when you sit at the bar. That’s what you do when you do Harajuku Gyoza. We have restaurants in Brisbane and in Sydney. We hope we are your favourite restaurant soon.
