The owners of Sassafras say its name is Australian for ‘place of many delicious and quirky things' and its regulars are inclined to believe them. The café, located in Paddington, serves breakfast, lunch and cakes and much of the produce used is organic, free range and fair trade. The atmosphere at Sassafras is constantly abuzz and the cafe will even share its backyard with guests – you can hire it for your next barbecue.
All-day breakfast and lunch and coffee and cake served seven days in a restored worker’s cottage and leafy backyard garden in Paddington, Brisbane. We serve craft beer and good wine by the glass all week and open our afternoon bar and serve dinner on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
