A grey building housing a TAB and a gym in Milton is an unlikely place for a cafe-bistro with an eye for fresh produce, but that's just one of the things that makes Soul Bistro surprisingly special. The indoor-outdoor dining room is simply furnished with a relaxed style. Many of the dishes on the Modern Australian menu have an Asian twist, but there's also classic comfort food like fish and chips and good quality steaks. After spending the last six years building up Food and Soul in Auchenflower to be the prominent restaurant it is now, Terry Leung is ready for his 2nd Restaurant-Soul Bistro open in late 2009. Soul Bistro promises to be a exciting new experience for Milton diners.
Originating from Hong Kong, Terry Leung has earned accolades as a highly regarded chef after having enjoyed many years crafting delicious fare at a number of the City’s most prestigious dining venues. Most people would agree that great cooking is an art and Terry is superb at creating dishes of distinction.
After years of working in the restaurant with his father @ Food & Soul, Maxwell decided to follow the foot-step of his father and ready for a new challenge and running this restaurant with his father.
As you’d expect between Terry has a real flair for creating modern Asian dishes. Their intimate knowledge of food from all cultures is also exploited to provide a combination of cooking flair, and ambience rarely seen with such affordability.
Soul Bistro aims to provide, fresh and affordable food, fighting inflation with experience and creativity to bring something new and exciting to the tables of lunch and dinner time diners on Brisbane’s west side.
