Waiheke Island Motel (formerly Midway Motel) is conveniently located at Ostend, right in the centre of the populated western end of Waiheke Island. We are 10 minutes drive from Matiatia, where the passenger ferry docks, the shopping village of Oneroa, the Sealink vehicle ferry is a 5 minute drive, and the motel on the main bus route.
Recently the rooms have been upgraded, and in 2016 Christina Hyde and Kelly Addis took over the ownership of the business, and renamed it the Waiheke Island Motel.

ROOMS AND UNITS
Waiheke Island Motel has 14 spacious units and cottages in a pretty garden setting.
It has a wide range of accommodation, from Garden Studio Apartments for 1 or 2 people through to 2-bedroom family units. We can accommodate individuals, couples, families or groups of 25 or more.
All Motel Units and Cottages are fully self-contained and serviced daily. All you need to bring is yourself and something comfortable to wear.
GARDEN STUDIOS
For 1 or 2 guests, our studios are fully self-contained, compact and contains a queen bed, kitchenette and bathroom.
1 BEDROOM COTTAGE
Suitable for 2 or 3 guests, these units are light and roomy and contain a queen bed in the bedroom and a single bed in the lounge plus a kitchenette and bathroom.
One unit has wheelchair access and facilities.
FAMILY 2-BEDROOM UNIT
These units are spacious and contain 4 beds: a queen bed, a double bed and 2 single beds.
With full kitchen and cooking facilities, lounge area and bathroom these units provide space for families or groups. Maximum occupancy is 5 guests.
3 BEDROOM HOUSE ONETANGI
This 3 bedroom house is located in Eden Terrace, 5 minutes walk from Onetangi beach.
With a queen bed, a double bed, and a set of bunk beds, the house is perfectly set-up for a family get-away. The kitchen has SMEG appliances, and a stone bench-top. The tiled bathroom has a walk-in shower and a free-standing stone bath. The generous garden has a trampoline, and lots of room for kids to run around. There is also a hot/cold outdoor shower to clean off the sand when you get back from the beach.
