In the fine Scottish country town of Grantown on Spey, not far from the famous Spey River, lies the handsome stone built Grant Arms Hotel, which has recently been refurbished and upgraded to offer modern comforts whilst retaining a traditional character.
The Grant Arms Hotel has changed a lot since Queen Victoria stayed here in 1860. Built in 1765 during the reign of King George III and situated in the Cairngorms National Park in Grantown on Spey, the Grant Arms Hotel is a traditional Scottish building, tastefully refurbished to provide thoroughly modern standards of comfort.
The Grant Arms Hotel offers 50 en-suite bedrooms all with tea and coffee making facilities, toiletries, hair dryer, colour TV, direct dial phone and free WiFi. There are two Four Poster Rooms (one of which is Queen Victoria’s), Twin, Double, Single or Family Rooms and also two enabled rooms for disabled guests. All facilities in the Grant Arms Hotel are wheelchair accessible.
Accommodation
The hotel has changed a lot since Queen Victoria’s stay in 1860. It has been modernised to provide very comfortable accommodation while keeping the traditional character. We now have 50 en-suite bedrooms, all with tea and coffee making facilities, toiletries, hair dryer, colour TV and direct dial phone.
There are two Disabled Rooms on the first floor accessible by lift.
Our Four Poster and Superior Rooms are traditionally furnished and located on the first and second floor. The Four Poster and Superior Rooms are all front facing overlooking the Square. However, we do have one rear facing Superior Room with lovely views to the Cromdale Hills. All Four Poster and Superior Rooms are accessible by lift. Our Four Poster and Superior Rooms come with bottled mineral water and chocolate which is replenished on a daily basis.
Most of our Standard Rooms are to the rear of the building or are located in the annex. However, some of our Standard Rooms are front facing overlooking the Square. The furniture is more modern, not all of our Standard Rooms are lift accessible.
Children are very welcome at the Grant Arms Hotel. We have several Family Roomsavailable to accommodate you and your little ones.
