Ha-Lu specialises in izakaya-style dining, which means you should bring your friends who don't mind sharing dishes. This style of dining is as convenient as it is social, considering you'll want to sample as much of the Japanese fare on offer as possible. Indulge in everything from sashimi to crispy pork to soft shell crab. Diners can keep the whole experience authentic by sipping the sake, Japanese beer and shochu on offer. Sushi starters and elegant Japanese dishes in a minimalist space with neutral decor and banquettes.
At Ha-Lu, we pride ourselves with the service that we offer to our customers. Taking this one step further, we also offer full disabled facilities.
Although Ha-Lu is built up from street level, wheelchair access is still very convenient via a gentle slopping ramp. Facing from the street, this is located to the left of the restaurant. The main door to Ha-Lu is wide enough that it will allow a chair to fit thought. Should a larger power chair be used, both doors can easily be opened to allow quick, easy access.
The surface in the restaurant is flat throughout with no obstacles between the dining area and the toilet.
The toilet area is very easy to access with space and cleanliness being a key factor. Table settings can be easily adjusted to accommodate one wheelchair or many.
