Il Lido Italian Canteen is an old seaside art-deco cabaret hall on Cottesloe Beach in Perth, Australia. Today, it’s an Italian-inspired espresso bar and restaurant. Il Lido not only has an Italian resonance but it draws on the heritage of the site as the original ‘Lido Cabaret’ was a very popular cabaret hall and night spot with the Cottesloe locals.

Our food can be described as ‘cucina povera’, or Italian peasant food, and it is presented with our own individuality. The menu is supported by an extensive wine list written by one of Australia’s most acclaimed sommeliers, Dan Wegener. The wine list has representation from local and Australian regional wines as well as one of the most comprehensive Italian wine selections in Western Australia.
