One of Perth's most talked-about Thai restaurants is owned and run by Sydney-born Michelin Starred chef David Thompson. Long Chim Perth has a pulsing, urban-inspired dining room located in the basement of the heritage Treasury building, complete with corrugated iron, exposed bricks and a street art mural. The kitchen marries authentic Thai street food with incredible Australian ingredients and the menu carries over 100 dishes. Long Chim means to come and taste and our menus propose just that a balanced and generous selection of the best dishes we can cook.

One of the world’s best chefs of Thai cuisine will bring the street food of Thailand to Perth’s cultural heart.

Try this, look here, what’s that – these words are the soundtrack of the Thai street, and Long Chim’s fast-and-hot service style of small and grabbable, steaming, clattering plates creates a kind of music that leads you to laugh a little louder, stay a little longer and try something new every time.

Long Chim means ‘come and taste’ in Thai and chef David Thompson invites everyone to sample the cuisine that seduced him on his first visit to Thailand in 1986.
