The Croft is a dog friendly and environmentally friendly bed and breakfast, situated just off the A7 on the outskirts of Selkirk. It has a secluded location, adjoining Selkirk Common and golf course but only 10 -15 minutes walk from the town centre.

It is set in 1.5 acres of land, which is mostly natural pasture and woodland with a natural stream and waterfall.

If you book two rooms you will have exclusive use of all the accommodation and facilities.

• Well-behaved pets are welcome (see some of the pets who have stayed with us) and the garden leads directly onto Selkirk Common, which is ideal for dog walking. We have been rated 5* Dog Friendly Accommodation by Your Dog magazine.
• Walkers and cyclists are particularly welcome and we have secure bike storage and facilities for drying clothes, cleaning boots etc.
• Free Wi-Fi is available.
• There is ample private parking.

Accommodation

There are two double bedrooms available.

One has a standard double bed, the other has a standard double bed and a double sofa-bed, which can be made up if required. A travel cot is also available.

One has an en-suite shower room and the other has an en-suite bathroom, with a bath and an over-bath shower.

Both rooms have central heating, radio, hairdryer, TV/DVD and tea and coffee-making facilities.

The breakfast/sitting room has patio doors leading to an outdoor seating area with a natural waterfall, pond and garden furniture.

In the morning, breakfast is served in this room and in the evening it can be used as a cosy sitting room with a log fire, TV, books and games.
