Cycle or Walk our country lanes and footpaths or ride out by horse. Take the car or bus to Melrose, Jedburgh and Coldstream all within half an hour. Further afield, easily reached within the hour are Edinburgh and Newcastle.
Kelso is an idyllic location for the perfect holiday; famous for its Abbey, Racecourse and Floors Castle home to the Duke of Roxburghe. There are many annual events held locally, often at the Border Union Showground, where three Championship Dog Shows are held each year, along with Country, Sporting & Craft Fairs, not to mention our famous Ram Sale each September.
Our comfortable, modern bungalow features ground floor en suite accommodation and a comfortable lounge for guest uses; all centrally heated on chilly days. Unlimited Wi Fi is available throughout the property.
The lounge has a TV, DVD player, hospitality tray and lots of local information, books, magazines and games. Outside there is a garden with eating and sitting. We have storage for golf club, fishing tackle and cycles. Drying facilities for boots and outdoor clothing are available.
Breakfast is served from 7am; we have an extensive menu and use eggs from our own hens. Evening meals, snacks and packed lunches available by prior arrangement.
