We are located in the centre of Rothbury, a small market town in Northumberland which straddles the River Coquet.
Situated in the centre of the county, Rothbury is the ideal base for exploring historic Northumberland. Within 30 minutes you can reach the Cheviots, the beach or another country town.
The coast, just twenty miles east, is a designated “Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty” and holds such treasures as castles, golden beaches and Holy Island, (Lindisfarne).
Hadrian’s Wall, the Cheviots and the Scottish Border are all within easy travelling distance.
Our Rooms
We have four different rooms available to our guests, each with en-suite facilities.
We have two double rooms, one twin room and one room with three single beds; all of which have television, radio and tea/coffee facilities. WiFi is available upon request, so please let us know if you require internet access during your stay with us.
The Railway Hotel offers breakfast (local produce) to all our guests. Please let us know if you have any special requirements.
