Alongside 141 spacious bedrooms, guests can choose to stay in one of our exclusive luxury lodges. Located within the peaceful grounds, you'll be able to retreat into the idyllic woodland in the highest level of comfort. The facilities inside the hotel are available to all guests who choose to stay in the luxury lodges too.
Inside Slaley Hall guests have access to our state-of-the-art health club, where a well-equipped gym, heated swimming pool and relaxing sauna can all be found. If you're in need of a little pampering, our luxurious spa can soothe away any aches and pains you may have. With spa therapists on site, we offer truly indulgent treatments designed to help you feel as good as new.
Three fantastic dining facilities can be found in the hotel, leaving guests with plenty of choice for dinner. You'll certainly work up an appetite if you choose to enjoy one of our regular adventurous activities. Arrival
Directions to Slaley Hall are available clicking here link or by calling the hotel on 01434 673350 option 5. As you arrive at Slaley Hall you will drive along a scenic road passing our luxury lodges on the left, carrying further along into our one way system keep on the left lane to access the courtyard and hotel main entrance and take the advantage of our complementary valet parking. Alternatively keep in the right lane and park in one of our many car parks we have over 300 spaces and have 5 disabled spaces along past the Claret Jug restaurant. There is a steep hill from the car parks, the courtyard is for pick up and drop off only, parking is strictly prohibited. The main entrance has an automatic double doors on the left and manual doors on the right. If you require any assistance with luggage or equipment our concierge team are on duty 24 hours.
Reception
The reception desk is located on the second floor of the hotel, from the main entrance you can take the stairs straight ahead or on the left there is a ramp with rest points. The reception desk is 100 cm high although check in can be completed at a lower desk nearby if necessary. Clip boards are available to use if you do not wish to leave the reception area. Assistance is available to help take luggage to your room. Reception staff will also brief you on our evacuation policy, please note on your registration card if assistance is needed in the event of an evacuation.
The following accessible aids are available at reception:
To the left of reception are the lifts giving access to the third floor only, to the right of reception and turning right walking passed the 19th Bar and to the end of the corridor there is a lift giving access to the golf floor, the first floor, the second floor and the third floor. There are various staircases situated around the hotel's quadrant.
Bedrooms
Slaley Hall has three disabled rooms all based on the second floor not far from reception. One of the disabled rooms has two double beds for carer's or children, the other two rooms can be made up as one double bed or twin beds. In the bedroom there is transfer space and turning of at least 65cm on one side of the bed and a transfer space and turning of at least 140cm on the other side of the bed. The flooring in the bedrooms is short pile carpet and flooring in the bathroom is tiled. Reading lamps are provided and a telephone is next to the bed on one side. Room service breakfast is available from 07:00 - 10:00 weekdays and 07:00 - 11:00 weekends, the daytime menu is served after breakfast until 22:00, afterwards a selection of cold sandwiches are available. Items of furniture can be taken out of the room upon request.
In two of our rooms there are wall mounted hand rails around the toilet and showers. All three of our rooms have walk in showers suitable to fit a wheelchair. One of our disabled rooms has a wall mounted shower seat as well. In the event of an emergency a member of the team will assist with your evacuation if necessary. Fire evacuation advice is provided on the back of your bedroom door and the fire assembly point is the car park opposite the large car park.
Public areas
The 19th Bar, Hadrian's Brasserie, Duke's Grill and lounge facilities are all situated on the second floor whilst the Claret Jug is located at floor 0. Lifts to bedrooms have tactile buttons at standard height, with the second floor button more pronounced in comparison to the other floors.
Accessible toilet facilities are located behind reception and opposite the Hunting room adjacent to the Claret Jug.
Conference banqueting & meeting rooms
All our meeting rooms are situated on the second floor (same floor as reception) with the exception of the Hunting room which is situated at floor 0 by the Claret Jug.
They are short walks down the corridors from reception. The Hunting room is located on floor 0 which can be accessed by the lift inside the hotel, or alternatively through the golf entrance up the ramp along past the Claret Jug.

Leisure and spa
The leisure club is located on the ground floor of the hotel, access is via stairs from the hotel, or access can be guided via a lift.
There will be a member of the leisure or reception team on hand at all times to guide you through the facilities that there is available.
Access to the pool is via steps, all of which have hand rails available to use, and the pool depth is 1.2m in the main area of the pool and 0.9m in the area at the bottom of the slide.
Jacuzzi access is via steps up to the Jacuzzi and down into the Jacuzzi water with hand rails available.
Sauna and steam rooms are both located on the top deck area of pool side, with easy access and a door width of 33.5 inch on both, seating is available in both.
Changing room access is via doors with width of 27.5 inch for male and female.
Once in the spa we have a ramp down to the treatment rooms 1-5 or treatment rooms upstairs with a nearby lift or access from main hotel reception
Golf shop
Our golf shop is located on floor 0 next to the Claret Jug, from inside the hotel you can access this from the lift where the Baybridge room is located. From outside of the hotel there is an entrance with a ramp to get to the golf shop and Claret Jug. The golf changing rooms are located further up the corridor from the Golf shop.
Outdoor facilities
The terrace can be accessed from the 19th Bar and Drawing room, this over looks the 18th Hole of our Hunting Course. We also have two 18 hole championship courses, electric trolleys, golf buggies and manual trolleys are available for hire subject to availability.
