Welcome to five-star fabulousness in the very heart of Belfast city.
A five star, super-elegant masterpiece in the heart of Belfast, next door to the Grand Opera House on Great Victoria Street.
Fabulous guestrooms, incredible food, a much-loved bar, state-of-the-art conference rooms and the best service you’ve ever experienced:
A new definition of boutique hotel, it’s Belfast’s five-star superstar.
We’ve upgraded most of our 130 elegant guestrooms and the results are sublime. There’s a lot of that familiar American walnut and those interesting fabrics in pinks, greens, aubergines but, look, we’ve changed things around, subtly but incredibly elegantly (of course).
There’s marble here and big headboards there, behind that oh-so-wonderfully inviting bed draped in crisp white Egyptian linen, a half-dozen pillows, snuggly duvets and you’re off, sinking into a peaceful, first class, slumber.
So what else is new? You might find a Nespresso machine in your room and over there is an antique glass mirror. The TV is bigger now too and what’s this? A utility box with useful things like menus and the remote control. There’s complimentary high speed Wi-Fi and the sound system connects to your device by Bluetooth, which is a nice touch.
This is what a five star room should be: An oasis of comfort. Somewhere to escape, a cocoon, if you will.
The only difficulty at The Fitzwilliam Hotel Belfast is deciding which of our guestrooms to choose.
STANDARD ACCESSIBLE
Standard is definitely the wrong word – this is a really elegant guestroom in a very smart five star hotel, after all.
Let’s call it our definitive room - the room to choose if you just want to get a good night’s sleep in the heart of Belfast city. But it style. You’re not a Neanderthal.
It might not have all the bells and whistles you’ll find in our more luxurious rooms and suites, but it is super-stylish, of course, and it’s a roomy room that’s wheelchair accessible.
All of the little luxuries you’d expect in one of our rooms are here too, including complimentary high-speed wireless Internet access and a workstation. In the bathroom we changed the bath to a bigger shower area.
If you’ve stayed here before you’ll notice some other subtle changes. Your room has had a makeover and that oh-so-Fitzwilliam style is still everywhere, it’s just a little different. Newer.
And your king-sized bed is still ridiculously comfortable, waiting to help you drift off, gently, effortlessly into the deepest sleep at the end of the day.
