Our well appointed rooms all have en suite bathroom and some offer a choice of double or twin beds. All our rooms have High Speed WiFi Internet, Digital Television.
Though we are slightly set back from the busy Douglas Promenade, many of our rooms offer limited sea views, with a few quiet rooms located to the rear of the hotel, which still enjoy a sunny aspect.

Mobility
It must be noted that the Welbeck is 100m from Promenade and that there is 6.5m of elevation from there to the front door.
Ground Floor – Apart from the Alexander Gill quiet lounge, the bar, restaurant and disabled public toilet are accessible by wheelchair. Armed chairs can be provided on request.
Main Hotel
The lift is 71cm wide and 86cm deep (with doors unfolded) and is not suitable for most wheelchairs If you cannot negotiate 3 steps, please inform us at the time of booking as each upper storey has two levels. The bathroom doors in the Rosebery building are all 69cm+ but many in the Welbeck are smaller. There are some rooms with step-in shower but most are shower over bath.
Apartments
Seven steps must be climbed to enter the building, then there is a full flight of 11 stairs to access the lift followed by then a further 7 stairs to the apartments.
Hearing /Visual
Please ask for our ‘Deafgard,’ a vibrating, illuminated alarm which can be activated by clock and decibels. We can provide a portable ‘Alarm Bell.’ Menus are able to be printed in larger font and in specified colours.
