Check-in is available from 2pm, with check-out at a leisurely 11am.
We are located in the centre of Carlisle, therefore noise may be occurant on Saturday evenings.
Any group bookings for 2 or more rooms are subject to a £50 deposit per room and ID is to be provided at reception upon checking into the hotel. All group bookings are subject to approval by management and any stag and hen bookings must be stated when making a booking or alternatively booked over the phone with reception, if not stated when making a booking then we have the right to deny entry upon arrival.

Our spacious restaurant is open daily for breakfast and dinner offering a choice of a la Carte or table d'hote menus, complemented by a good selection of wines and liqueurs.

Portland's Resident Bar
Adjacent to the restaurant the Lounge bar is the place to relax before your meal. As an alternative to the restaurant you may prefer to sample our bar menu, which features home cooked traditional fayre.
The restaurant and bar menus are also supported by a large selection of wines, beers and spirits.
