Our building houses a bar & bistro, fully equipped spa and meeting and events space in one of Carlisle’s most celebrated Edwardian buildings. Through stylish spaces, beautiful presented food and fine cocktails we aim to provide our guests with an exceptional experience and outstanding service.
APARTMENTS
Our award winning self-catering apartments have been designed to ensure guests have a relaxing and enjoyable stay. Each apartment blends contemporary style with traditional touches, making them perfect for those looking for an extra special place to stay as a comfortable alternative to a hotel. With room to accommodate between 2 and 4 guests, our 16 unique apartments are ideal for couples, individuals, groups of friends and families.
What we can offer
Although all apartments are booked on a room-only basis, we are able to offer everything you need to make your stay as convenient and enjoyable as possible. We can supply bespoke breakfast hampers and other refreshments on arrival or during your stay, and arrange other extra touches, such as flowers and champagne, if you are staying with us to celebrate a special occasion or even if you just want to spoil yourself or your partner. All guests are also able to eat in our on-site cafe bar Bartons Yard, which serves food all day everyday from 7.30am, or our bar & restaurant Penny Blue
ACCESSIBLE ROOMS
We have wheelchair friendly accessible rooms available with wet room shower access. Our generous sized rooms are all accessible via the lift and are still furnished to the same high standards and unique decor as all of our other rooms. Shower chairs are available on request, please ask.
Bedrooms and bathrooms are bright and evenly lit by overhead lighting, natural light, bedside lighting and a desk lamp. Bathrooms are lit with an overhead light and mirror lighting. We are happy to provide additional light if required.
Bedroom flooring is either short pile carpet, laminate or wooden flooring. Some bedrooms are a combination of the mentioned. All bedroom doors measure 86cm in width to allow easy access into the apartments.
