The NH Collection Amsterdam Barbizon Palace hotel is right in the center of Amsterdam. We’re by the main train station and close to the museums and shops. The building itself is a highlight too, dating back to the 17th century.

We have 274 rooms spread over 6 floors, including a range of Suites and Apartments. Classic in style, each room offers plenty of space and climate control. Many come with a first-class view of Amsterdam’s cityscape. Our Premium rooms and Junior suites are each unique, showcasing the exquisite features of the space, and making it impossible for us to show you all of them here. The room received may differ from the pictures shown online. All of our Junior Suites are split level, with stairs to access the higher floor. If there are a few of you coming away together, you might want to consider connecting rooms or the Apartments – the latter have their own kitchens.

Our crowning glory when it comes to dining is our Michelin-starred Restaurant Vermeer, overseen by Chris Naylor. 
In the morning, head to the breakfast room for our signature NH Collection buffet breakfast– a huge spread of hot and cold dishes, including fresh fruit, pastries and eggs cooked to order. 

For drinks, there’s Bar Mar-Dique, which serves everything from cocktails to light snacks.

A real highlight, whether it’s for a corporate event or a celebration, is our 15th-century chapel, Olof's. An exquisite setting to host an unforgettable event, the oldest chapel in Amsterdam dates back to the 15th century, belongs to NH Collection Amsterdam Barbizon Palace, and can host up to 520 guests as well as boasting its own private entrance. With our dedicated event planners on-site creating a breathtaking event is easy. Besides Olof’s, the 12 additional meetings rooms are located near the stylish hotel lobby, where surprising culinary meeting breaks can be served, and can host functions for up to 150 people.
