Overlooking a harbour and salt marshes, this relaxed guesthouse near shops and restaurants is a mile from the nearest beach, 3 miles from Holkham Hall stately home and 9 miles from the A148 road.
Warmly decorated rooms feature free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs and en suite bathrooms, plus tea and coffeemaking equipment. Some rooms add bunk beds, fireplaces, and/or views of the town, harbour and/or marshes.
Continental breakfast is available for a fee. Other amenities include a relaxed living room and a bike workshop. Pets are welcome on request.
The Quay is something new, a town house with a spacious and comfortable lounge area – with its own kitchen exclusively for guests’ use – and eight bedrooms, beautifully yet simply designed to accommodate anyone looking for a base to call home, for one night or a week, while they explore and enjoy the North Norfolk coast.
We have family rooms, rooms with bunk beds for boys and girls (or grown-up boys and girls with bikes, or with their own little boy or girl –and bikes perhaps!) and cosy hideaways with stunning views of the harbour and marsh, ideal for couples.
All bedrooms come with tea and coffee making facilities, 40-inch flat screen TVs with DVD players and ensuite bathrooms. All room rates include our continental breakfast. We also have dog friendly rooms available.

Our eight rooms are tastefully furnished with practical style. Our “Top Cs”are comfort, convenience and cleanliness. On the ground floor we have a fully equipped and accessible room for wheelchair-users or those with disabilities including a dementia-friendly bathroom. On the first and second floors take your pick from cosy (and cost-effective!) rooms with bunk beds, ideal for that short stopover, or treat yourself to one of the luxuriously larger upper rooms with views over the creeks and harbour.
All ensuite rooms have walk-in showers.
Guests need to be aware that there is no lift in the building. Rooms 2 ,3 & 4 are on the first floor and rooms 5, 6, 7 & 8 are on the second floor.
Our friendly staff are on-site every day and they will ensure you remain comfortable with a daily housekeeping service, included in the room rate.
