Built approximately 150 years ago from traditional Lakeland stone, Elim House is ideally situated in a quiet road, perfect for a peaceful break.
Whether you want an energetic walk in the surrounding hills, a gentle stroll down to the lake and shops, or a leisurely drive through spectacular scenery Elim House is the perfect base ideally located on the very edge of Bowness town centre.
Accomodation
Elim House is a traditional Victorian Lakeland guest house. Each of our welcoming and comfortable rooms are equipped with everything you'll need for a relaxing and enjoyable stay, including digital televisions tea and coffee making facilities, and fully equipped en-suite facilities.
Room Selection
We have two large four poster en-suite rooms situated on the first floor overlooking the garden, one has a large en-suite, the other a small en-suite.
There are also four double en-suite rooms, two are situated on the second floor overlooking the garden and the hills, two are in our annex overlooking the courtyard and have large en-suites.
Our largest room are our two super king-size or twin bedrooms, one has en-suite shower, one has en-suite bath and shower, both overlook the courtyard at the rear.
There's also a small four poster en-suite room situated on the first floor facing the courtyard.
Accessibility
Please be aware that our premises are very traditional, our stairways and passageways are narrow and are not suitable for people with mobility difficulties.
