Set in an 1896 redbrick home with a carriage house, this genteel B&B in the Savannah Historic District lies across the road from Forrest Gump's bench on leafy Chippewa Square. It's a 3-minute walk from shops on Liberty Street and a mile from Route 17.
Traditional rooms in the carriage house feature antique furnishings and 4-poster beds, as well as flat-screen TVs and courtyard views; some have private entrances. Rooms in the main house come with fireplaces, and some offer square views and/or whirlpool tubs.
Cooked-to-order breakfast is served in-room, in a formal dining or in a courtyard. Afternoon tea and evening wine hours are complimentary.
