Comber Tandoori opened in November 2013. The restaurant is run and managed by Jilu Miah, who has been catering for the people of Comber for 17years, so far... At Comber Tandoori we bring you the best dishes from all over the Indian sub-continent. We have an extensive menu of popular dishes which you may be familiar with, and we have daily specials from our chefs which offer a truly authentic taste of Bengal.
Our front dining room occupies a building known as 'The Cooperage', where barrels were made to store whiskey. The cooperage is the last standing building of the Comber Distilleries. Founded in 1825, the distillery produced 'Comber Whiskey' until its closure in 1956, when it was the last remaining pot still in Northern Ireland. Since then it has been a private residence and a coffee shop, and now we are proud to have it as our restaurant.
