This two-star superior hotel is located in the heart of Hamburg, just around the corner from the Hamburg Harbour, which is the gateway to Hamburg and the “Landungsbrücken”, within walking distance to the Reeperbahn and St. Pauli. The famous shopping street “Mönckebergstrasse” as well as the Alster lake can be reached by tube in less than 8 minutes. Public transport is just in front of the hotel. The Hamburg trade fair halls and the Congress Centre are only 3km away. Both can be reached via public transport within approximately 19 minutes.

Renovation work

The EGON HOTEL HAMBURG CITY will also like to offer his guests in the future a modern ambience. Therefore parts of the hotel will be under renovation from October 1st 2017 until May 2018. Noise pollutions could happen during daytimes in the week. We thank you for your comprehension.

Rooms

The EGON HOTEL HAMBURG CITY welcomes you with 148 rooms, which are located on two floors. Some rooms with a view towards the outside city life and other rooms overlooking the green indoor garden. All rooms have high quality Scandinavian box spring beds which guarantee a perfect sleep. The fully equipped rooms provide a desk, a suitcase tray and a linen drawer as well as a wardrobe.

Accessible by wheelchair

The hotel provides two accessible double rooms with two separate 0,90 m x 2,00 m single beds. Each bathroom has a roll in shower and a WC, both with security handles. The room and the bathroom are accessible by wheelchair.

Breakfast and Bistro

The EGON HOTEL HAMBURG CITY offers its guests a daily breakfast with a wide variety to choose from. You can enjoy and start your day for only EUR 10,00 person; Monday to Friday from 6:30 am until 10:00 am and Saturday and Sunday from 6:30 am until 11:00 am.
Choose from our huge selection of bread rolls, croissants and breads. A variety of cheese as well as sliced poultry and pork sausage are available. If you prefer your breakfast a little sweeter, we also have marmalade, honey and Nutella. Certainly – our boiled eggs should not be missed. For our fitness guests the buffet breakfast offers a choice of cereals as well as yogurts, curd cheese and fresh fruits. Without a doubt, there is definitely something for everyone.
