We would like to inform you that the next stage of the comprehensive renovation of the Danubius Health Spa Resort Margitsziget will start in the autumn.
For six months from the end of October 2017 new works are scheduled, during which the hotel lobby, the ground-floor conference rooms, the entrance to the medical centre and the Kamilla Café will undergo reconstruction.
The works are only permitted to take place between 08:00 and 18:00 on any day of the week.
Certain parts of the hotel will be accessible via an alternative route, but the medical, wellness and fitness facilities will remain open continuously.
From the start of the works, probably until the end of January, the hotel will be accessible via the entrance facing the “Great Meador” (Nagyrét) area of the Island. Breakfast will be served in a special area of the building fitted out for this purpose, while lunch and supper will be available in the neighbouring Grand Hotel.
As a small gesture of goodwill during the renovation period, please accept with our complements a voucher for a free salt cave treatment, which can be collected from the reception desk.
The voucher entitles you to one salt cave treatment per stay. It can only be used during your stay in the hotel, and is not redeemable for cash.

Read All ReviewsHotel new decor was delightful. Rooms and beds were very comfortable but our visit was sadly disappointing due to the extensive external redevelopment work. Being a disabled visitor walking out of the hotel was extremely difficult. We arrived very late and the staff was more than happy to make me a beautiful sandwich for supper. Hope it becomes easier to access the hotel once redevelopments work over. I would suggest other guest to call in once for the situation before booking
