Lochside is a family run five bedroom purpose built B&B situated near the village of Blackwaterfoot on the West Coast of the beautiful Isle of Arran.
The private grounds are a lovely tranquil place to relax and guests can walk the short distance to Blackwaterfoot along the beach from in front of Lochside so gives guests plenty of choice of where to go for activities, attractions and eating out.
The house stands alone on seven acres of land that includes two small lochs and extensive gardens with flowers, shrubs and mature trees which guests are welcome to use for taking a leisurely stroll around the grounds with the lochs a haven for wildlife including swans and ducks.
Lochside is perfectly situated to witness uninterrupted sunsets over the Kilbrannan Sound towards the Kintyre Peninsula and on a clear day you can even see Ireland!
The village of Blackwaterfoot is walking distance away so positions Lochside in a quiet, peaceful location but close to many attractions and amenities the area offers.
Part of the Arran Coastal Way path runs along the beach so Lochside is a great place to either Start, Finish or Split some (or all!) of the 65 mile circular walking route around the Isle of Arran.
INTERIOR
We want you to feel at home, there is a lovely lounge with TV and large windows overlooking the gardens with views over the sea and a separate breakfast room.
We offer free WiFi and, at no extra cost, afternoon tea (or coffee if you prefer!) with a selection of cakes for anyone wanting to recover from a busy day after your various activities, sightseeing or just chilling.
