Originally built in 1856, we were first created as a seminary that was run by The Nun’s of The Immaculate Conception including their own dormitories. After becoming The Holly House Ladies College in 1906 with the power of awarding degrees to it female students, it was then converted in 1995 to become the beautiful hotel that is today, still surrounded by the Gardens that were originally sculpted & created in the 19th Century.

The Devonshire House features 54 en-suite bedrooms with plenty of character and facilities to make your stay a comfortable one. If you’re looking for food and drink, guests can enjoy a relaxing, home-cooked meal in our Restaurant or a unwind with a drink in our Hotel Residents Bar.
