On arrival, we provide washing-up liquid, soap powder, dishwasher tablets, toilet paper, hand soap, kitchen roll, a bottle of wine, flowers in season, milk, salt and pepper, and a jar of local honey, all included in the rent, as is the heating, constant hot water, logs and coal.
Curlew Cottage is a contemporary, stone-built, self-catering holiday cottage situated to the west of the original cottages at Beacon Hill. The cottage offers wonderful uninterrupted views across the fields to the distant hills and moorland of Northumberland and has a spacious garden and terrace.
This superb holiday home is built and finished to the highest standards, offering the last word in luxury self catering accommodation and provides a full range of televisions with DVD and CD players.
Entry to the cottage is by a ramped access into a large tiled hall.
The kitchen is stylish and contemporary, with granite worktops and a full range of kitchen appliances, including an American style fridge / freezer, washer drier and dishwasher. The large oak dining table can sit ten people in comfort.
The separate sitting room features a log stove and floor-to-ceiling windows with a patio door opening into a sandstone terrace and private garden.
The master bedroom has a super-king-size bed, an en-suite and a television. There are two twin bedrooms, one with an en-suite. The spacious family bathroom has a bath and roll-in power shower.
Curlew Cottage has been awarded 5 Stars by Visit Britain and possesses a Mobility M2 accessibility grading.
We also offer a heated swimming pool, spa, jacuzzi, beauty salon and steam room available, unfortunately the spa is not wheelchair accessible.

Along the Northumberland coast, Berwick-upon-Tweed, Holy Island, Bamburgh, Seahouses, Beadnell, Newton-by-the-Sea, Craster, Boulmer, Alnmouth, Warkworth, Amble and Whitley Bay are all within easy reach, as well as Wooler, Rothbury, Hexham, Newcastle, Gateshead and the majestic wilds of Northumberland National Park and Kielder Forest Park.
