Dunchraigaig House is conveniently situated in the heart of the historic Kilmartin Glen, about a mile south of Kilmartin Village and 7 miles from Lochgilphead. We provide comfortable B&B accommodation from which to explore the beautiful area of Argyll.
Exploring the history of Scotland? This is one of the best places to stay if you are interested in history. We have the Ballymeanoch standing stones adjacent to the house and ancient Cairns dotted all around.
Love Nature? We have a Pine Martin that visits us along with red squirrels, otters, deer and a huge variety of birds.
Looking for Peace? The house is set in a wonderfully quiet location far from the stresses and strains of city life!
Rooms
Each of our en-suite rooms has its own style and individual character. We have three double, one twin and one king-size bedroom. All rooms are on the first floor with views either to the front of the stones and Jura in the distance, or to the woodland behind (from which deer and the pine marten often emerge!). All have TV (with integral CD/ DVD players), hairdryer, refreshment tray and free WiFi.
Cosy, country-style rooms feature views over the stones or woodland. All have en suite bathrooms and complimentary WiFi, plus tea and coffeemaking facilities.
THE BED AND BREAKFAST
A full Scottish breakfast is included, and packed lunches are available (fee). There's a guest lounge with an fireplace, as well as a garden, parking and secure storage for bikes.
