Description
Are you looking for a holiday on the Isle of Wight that is wheelchair accessible? We have a 6 berth, 2 bedroom wheelchair accessible static caravan to let at Thorness Bay holiday park, Isle of Wight. Our caravan has a fixed ramp leading up to the front door, with a flat surface at the top. The toilet has hand rails and one that lifts up and down. The shower has a step up and over entrance, with a shower seat. Our caravan has had two wheelchair users staying in the past, so it is quite roomy.
NO smoking or pets allowed, except for guide/assistance dogs.
Available in Caravan:
Gas & Electricity are included in the booking price
Twin room with 2 single beds.
Double room with double bed.
Pull out double bed in the 3 seater sofa, in the lounge
Freeview TV & DVD combo
Arcade Action 2 games console
*Separate kitchen area, not galley kitchen
Entertainment Passes
Gas Fire in the lounge
Welcome pack
Dining table with four chairs
Available on site:
Entertainment daily for your children and entertainment every night for all the family.
Children's park,
Launderette,
Shop,
Restaurant
WiFi (In the main complex building)
Heated indoor swimming pool.
Parking space right next to the ramp
Full list available on our site.
*Our caravan has a fully kitted kitchen, but please bear in mind, that the kitchen is not a galley kitchen, therefore in my opinion as a wheelchair user myself, our kitchen is not suitable for wheelchair users on there own. An able bodied person is required to use the kitchen.

Read All ReviewsThe reception is well away from the site, the bay is quite a walk, so not on the beach as stated. Not a good parking facility i would say. Also asked for the disabled caravan but on arrival they told that they dont have any disabled caravan available. Also lots of walks which can make difficult for the disabled members. Not a good experience as i am disabled and faced a lot of problems. If disabled kindly ignore.
